Heterodox Academy is a national organization founded in 2016, which is committed to advocating for policy and culture changes that ensure our universities are truth-seeking, knowledge-generating institutions grounded in open inquiry, viewpoint diversity, and constructive disagreement. HxA-UCLA is a campus affiliate of Heterodox Academy, which broadly adheres to HxA’s principles and receives some seed funding from HxA, but sets its own goals and agenda.
